Get ready for an exciting event! The 38th IATO Annual Convention is coming to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, from September 29 to October 2, 2023. The convention's focus is on inbound tourism and emerging sustainable trends, a hot topic in today's travel world.

The beautiful city of Aurangabad will play host to this significant event. The venue of choice is WelcomHotel by ITC Hotels Rama International, providing a fitting backdrop for the convention's activities.

Anticipation is high, with an estimated 900-1000 delegates expected from all corners of India. The guest list includes senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and representatives from various states. Industry leaders, hospitality professionals, and influential members of the travel trade media will also be in attendance, making this a networking and knowledge-sharing bonanza.

This year's convention revolves around the theme "Inbound Tourism and Emerging Sustainable Trends." It's a reflection of the growing emphasis on environmentally responsible practices in the tourism industry. Discussions and sessions will delve into sustainable tourism practices, aiming to shape the future of travel.

The convention will be under the capable leadership of Rajnish Kaistha, Senior Vice President of IATO, who takes on the role of IATO Convention Chairman. Assisting him are Sanjay Razdan, Honorary Secretary, and Jitendra Kejriwal, Chairman of IATO Maharashtra Chapter, serving as Co-Chairmen. Jaswant Singh, a local member from Aurangabad, will ensure seamless coordination as the Convention Coordinator.

Over the three-day convention, participants can look forward to a packed schedule. This includes registration, the inaugural function, insightful business sessions, and delightful evening programs. The event also plans to organize five post-convention tours covering various sectors, giving attendees the chance to explore and experience different regions.

A significant focus of the convention is to strengthen collaborations between state governments and IATO. Various states are eager to promote and revive inbound tourism in their regions. The participation of 18 states in the previous year's convention highlights the growing interest in boosting tourism across India.
