403 Forbidden Bar, Bengaluru’s immersive cocktail destination, is set to host Mumbai’s celebrated Permit & Co. for a special edition of its OVERRIDE_TAKEOVER series on Wednesday, 10 June 2026. The one-night event will bring together two distinct bar cultures, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience Mumbai’s iconic permit room legacy through a contemporary lens.

Created as a platform for cultural and creative exchange, the OVERRIDE_TAKEOVER series invites some of India’s most distinctive bar concepts to share the traditions, stories, and inspirations that shape their cities. This edition turns the spotlight on Mumbai’s rich drinking culture through Permit & Co., a bar known for transforming nostalgia into modern cocktail experiences.

Drawing inspiration from Mumbai’s historic permit rooms, Permit & Co. has built its identity around the city’s social fabric, local flavours, and neighbourhood memories. Its cocktails reinterpret familiar references from Mumbai life, blending heritage with contemporary mixology.

For the Bengaluru showcase, guests can look forward to a specially curated cocktail menu inspired by iconic Mumbai elements such as Campa Cola, Pallonji Soda, Chowpatty flavours, local snacks, and everyday city experiences. These influences have been thoughtfully reimagined into innovative cocktail creations that celebrate the spirit of Mumbai.
