Mumbai’s Bang Bang! Noodle is bringing its Sichuan-inspired cuisine to Hyderabad with “A Spooktacular Noodle Takeover”, a two-day Halloween residency at Lili Cantonese Kitchen in Jubilee Hills on October 28 and 29, 2026.
For the limited-period collaboration, Lili’s copper-lit dining room will take on a Halloween theme, with a menu that combines Bang Bang! Noodle’s signature mala flavours and hand-pulled noodles with playfully named dishes inspired by spooky characters and local legends.
The menu is divided into themed sections, including Chills and Thrills and Gremlins and Ghouls. Among the starters, Skulls of the Damned reimagines honey chilli lotus stem, while The Pickled Poltergeist puts a Halloween spin on smashed cucumber salad. Makdee Mushroom X.O. Tarts arrive in the form of spider-inspired bites, and Radioactive Zombie Fingers pairs chicken with Hakka green garlic sauce and toasted almond nails.
The takeover will also feature Bang Bang! Noodle’s cult favourites, including its Sichuan hand-pulled noodles and chilli oil wontons, bringing the Mumbai brand’s signature preparations to Hyderabad diners. Drawing on local references, the dish narratives also take inspiration from places such as Golconda Fort and Ramoji Film City.
Two desserts complete the menu. The Crimson Curse combines choux pastry, berry coulis and rose champagne caviar, while Nasty Neuro features a bheja popcorn parfait with gingerbread crumb and togarashi granola. A dedicated kids’ menu will also be available.
Speaking about the collaboration, Chef Rahul Punjabi, Founder, Bang Bang! Noodle, said, “When we decided to come to Hyderabad, we didn’t want to simply do a menu takeover. The team inspired us to run with the Halloween theme and it got our creative juices flowing. The menu will feature our cult favourite mala fare, hand pulled noodles and some positively creepy, crawly and ghoulish delights!”
The collaboration brings together two kitchens with distinct identities and a shared emphasis on craft and ingredients.
Launched by House Of Tequileria LLP, Lili Cantonese Kitchen is a 45-seat Cantonese kitchen and bar built around purity, refinement and balance. Its understated interiors and carefully considered dining experience provide a contrasting backdrop to Bang Bang! Noodle’s bold flavours and playful Halloween presentation.
Chef Rahul Punjabi’s approach to Sichuan cuisine draws on culinary learning in Sichuan province. The kitchen uses A++ grade Crying Tiger Sichuan peppercorns sourced from China and noodle flour sourced from Italy. Its noodles are hand-pulled to order, with technique and ingredient selection central to the menu.
Abhilasha Oruganti, Co-Founder and Partner at Lili and Foxie, said, “Collaboration is at the heart of Lili. We have always wanted this to be a space where good ideas and good energy come together. Bang Bang! Noodle shares our belief that flavour should be respected and that every plate should be made with care. Hosting Chef Rahul and his team for Halloween lets our guests discover a bolder, more playful side of Chinese cuisine, and we are thrilled to bring something this different to Hyderabad.”
For Hyderabad diners, the residency offers an opportunity to experience Bang Bang! Noodle’s distinctive Sichuan-inspired menu without travelling to Mumbai. By combining culinary technique with Halloween storytelling, the collaboration places food at the centre of the seasonal celebration.
