Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel, Gachibowli, is set to take guests on a culinary journey into the heart of Parsi tradition with The Parsi Culinary Chapter, a special food pop-up at Feast Restaurant from August 20 to 24, 2025.
The event will be headlined by celebrated Parsi chefs Tehmtan and Shernaz Dumasia, renowned for serving Mumbai’s elite, including Bollywood celebrities, for over three decades. Known for their dedication to preserving authentic flavours, the duo has revived forgotten Parsi recipes through high-profile festivals across India.
The pop-up will showcase traditional dishes rarely found outside Parsi homes, including the rich and comforting Dhansak, aromatic Patra ni Machhi, spicy Kolmi no Patio, tangy Jardaloo Sali Boti, and fluffy Akuri. Every recipe is prepared using spices and ingredients sourced directly from Mumbai to maintain its original essence.
Parsi cuisine itself is a blend of Persian roots and Indian influences — a unique harmony of sweet and savoury flavours. Signature ingredients like saffron, cinnamon, dried fruits, and lentils reflect the warmth and heritage of the Parsi community, which has been part of India’s cultural fabric for centuries.
