Bombay Daak, a Bandra-based bar by Chef Niyati Rao and restaurateur Sagar Neve, is bringing its take on India's regional drinking and eating traditions to Bengaluru with a two-day takeover at Woodside Inn, Indiranagar, on November 20 and 21, 2026.
The team behind Ekaa, Bombay Daak draws inspiration from local brews, regional food customs and drinking traditions that have largely remained outside mainstream culinary spaces. The Bengaluru takeover will feature four cocktails and four small plates, bringing the bar's distinctive approach to food and drink to the city's gastropub scene.
Cocktails Inspired by Regional Flavours
The cocktail menu features four creations that combine spirits with ingredients such as pickled apricot, seaweed, cardamom and chilli.
Maas Daru brings together Pisco, Apricot Brandy, Sambuca, Pickled Apricot and Mutton Fat. Reef combines Gin with Cinzano Rosso, Ogonori Seaweed and a ZTW Reduction.
Banarasa features Whisky, Cardamom, Banana, Sandalwood and Citrus, while Birds Bite combines Tequila, Birds Eye Chilli Wine, Elderflower and Citrus.
The selection highlights Bombay Daak's approach to combining familiar spirits with ingredients and flavour combinations drawn from different culinary traditions.
Small Plates with Indian Influences
The food menu includes two vegetarian options and two non-vegetarian dishes.
Zanzanit Kakdi combines Cucumber, Peanut and Green Chilli, while Maska Bread features 110% Hydration Bread, Green Mango Butter and three cheeses.
For non-vegetarian diners, Kerala Fried Chicken is served with Smoked Pineapple Jam and Cucumber Pachadi. Milkmaid Prawns, prepared with Bombay Daak Spice, complete the selection.
The takeover brings together Bombay Daak's focus on India's regional drinking and eating habits with Woodside Inn's neighbourhood gastropub setting. Through its curated menu, the collaboration offers Bengaluru diners an opportunity to explore the Bandra bar's interpretation of regional flavours through cocktails and small plates.
