C-Salt at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa invites diners to explore the flavours of Sri Lanka through the latest chapter of The Spice Route Chronicles – A Journey Across the Ancient Maritime Spice Route. Titled Sri Lanka – The Island of Cinnamon, the culinary experience celebrates the island nation's rich food traditions, fragrant spices and tropical ingredients from October 16 to 31.

The menu brings together a selection of popular Sri Lankan preparations, offering diners a taste of the island's diverse culinary heritage. Highlights include the tangy and spice-rich Fish Ambul Thiyal, Jaffna Crab Curry, Kottu Roti, Hoppers, Coconut Sambols and Wattalapam. Drawing on the island's use of coconut, seafood and aromatic spices, the selection reflects the flavours that shape Sri Lankan cuisine.

Adding to the experience, guests can explore a fresh coconut station and a range of cinnamon-inspired desserts, bringing the island's tropical ingredients and celebrated spice heritage to the table.

Through The Spice Route Chronicles, C-Salt continues its culinary journey across destinations connected by the historic maritime spice trade. This Sri Lankan edition offers diners an opportunity to discover the island's traditional flavours through a dedicated dining experience at the resort.
