Ummrao, the fine-dining gem at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, welcomes the return of celebrated Chef Manzilat Fatima for the much-anticipated second edition of “The Royal Rivayat.” Running from April 10 to 20, 2025, this culinary celebration brings the soul of royal Awadhi cuisine, delicately infused with Chef Manzilat’s signature Calcutta-style twist.

Back by popular demand after her previous successful showcase, Chef Manzilat presents a journey through timeless recipes passed down through generations in her royal family. Her thoughtful interpretation of regal dishes offers a rare and immersive gastronomic experience that honours tradition while embracing individual flair.

Guests can indulge in iconic creations such as the famed Calcutta-style Aloo Biryani, hearty Haleem, and melt-in-your-mouth Galauti Kebabs, each dish prepared with the finesse and warmth that define her cooking philosophy.

The vegetarian set menu features comforting starters like Mili Juli Sabzi ka Shorba, Chatpati Paneer Handi Kebab, Subz Zaffrani Kebab, and Ramzan Veg Haleem. The main course includes delights such as Paneer Rezala, Jhatpat Singhade ki Subzi, and Hari Satpaita Dal, paired with Kathal Biryani, Ulta Tawa Paratha, and Birahi Paratha. Sweet indulgence follows with Shahi Kesar Halwa and Shahi Badam Kheer.

A non-vegetarian set menu and à la carte selections will also be available, along with an option for a cocktail paired menu to elevate the experience.

Taking place daily from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM, The Royal Rivayat is more than just a culinary event — it's a tribute to royal traditions, heartfelt stories, and the soulful legacy of Awadhi cuisine.
