Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal is bringing the diverse culinary heritage of Maharashtra to Bengaluru with Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra, an exclusive food festival curated by Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature at The Hebbal Cafe from September 25 to 30, 2026.
The festival celebrates seven distinctive culinary traditions from Maharashtra, taking diners on a regional journey through the flavours of Konkan, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Western Maharashtra, among other culinary influences that have shaped the state's food culture.
From coastal delicacies and rustic preparations to royal influences and hearty regional fare, Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra aims to showcase the diversity of Maharashtrian cuisine through traditional recipes, local ingredients and time-honoured cooking techniques.
Curated by Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature, the buffet features a selection of Maharashtrian favourites, bringing together bold flavours and comforting preparations. Guests can savour dishes including Bharli Vangi, Kolhapuri Tambda Rassa, Misal Pav, Kothimbir Vadi and Sol Kadhi, followed by the traditional dessert Puran Poli.
Each preparation reflects the distinctive ingredients, cooking styles and culinary traditions associated with different parts of Maharashtra, offering diners an opportunity to explore the state's gastronomic diversity through a single dining experience.
The celebration will also include a dedicated Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra Brunch on September 27, expanding the regional spread with additional specialities. The brunch menu will feature Kolhapuri Mutton, Varan Bhaat, Saoji Chicken, Sabudana Vada and Puran Poli, bringing together rustic preparations, regional favourites and festive dishes.
Hosted at The Hebbal Cafe, the festival is designed as an immersive culinary experience that introduces Bengaluru diners to the regional breadth of Maharashtrian food, extending beyond commonly known dishes to explore the traditions and flavours of different parts of the state.
With its combination of regional specialities, traditional recipes and contemporary hotel dining, Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra celebrates the warmth and diversity of Maharashtra's culinary heritage through a week-long food experience.
