The rich culinary heritage of Maharashtra will take centre stage at The Hebbal Cafe, Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, with Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra, an exclusive culinary festival curated by Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature.

Taking place from 25th to 30th September, the festival will showcase the state’s seven distinctive culinary traditions through a spread of regional flavours, spices and traditional recipes. From the coastal delicacies of Konkan to the rustic flavours of Vidarbha, the royal influences of Marathwada and the hearty food of Western Maharashtra, the festival brings together different sides of Maharashtrian cuisine.

Curated by Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature, the buffet will feature traditional favourites including Bharli Vangi, Kolhapuri Tambda Rassa, Misal Pav, Kothimbir Vadi and Sol Kadhi, followed by Puran Poli. The dishes highlight the ingredients, cooking styles and food traditions that have been passed down through generations across Maharashtra.

The celebration will also include a Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra brunch on 27th September, offering a selection of regional specialities such as Kolhapuri Mutton, Varan Bhaat, Saoji Chicken, Sabudana Vada and Puran Poli. The brunch will bring together rustic preparations, familiar regional favourites and festive dishes.

Through the festival, The Hebbal Cafe aims to give guests a taste of the warmth, variety and authentic flavours that make Maharashtrian cuisine distinct. The spread will take diners across different regions of the state while showcasing the food traditions that continue to be part of Maharashtra’s culinary identity.
