Overview

Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal is set to bring the vibrant flavours of Madurai to the city with a specially curated Madurai Food Festival at The Hebbal Cafe. Designed as a 10-day culinary pop-up, the festival celebrates the rich, spice-forward cuisine of South Tamil Nadu.

Known for curating immersive dining experiences, the hotel invites guests in Bengaluru to explore a menu that blends street-style favourites with traditional home-style dishes, capturing the essence of Madurai’s iconic food culture.

Crafted by Chef Manoj and the in-house culinary team, the menu showcases signature dishes such as Madurai Kari Dosai, Nei Podi Idli, and Poricha Parotta. Guests can also indulge in regional favourites like Mutton Kola Urundai, alongside a selection of flavourful curries and accompaniments that highlight the depth and diversity of Tamil Nadu’s cuisine.

Adding to the experience are live dosa counters, bringing an interactive element to the dining journey, while desserts inspired by the classic Jigarthanda offer a refreshing finish.

For those looking for a more elaborate spread, the festival will also feature a special Madurai-themed Sunday Brunch on April 12, where guests can enjoy these regional flavours in a relaxed, indulgent setting.

Running from April 10 to April 19, the festival offers a unique opportunity to experience the aromas, spices, and traditions of southern Tamil Nadu without leaving the city.

Blending authenticity with a contemporary dining environment, the Madurai Food Festival at The Hebbal Cafe promises a memorable gastronomic journey rooted in culture, flavour, and storytelling.
