Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar is bringing the royal flavours of Rajasthan to the hill station with ‘Marwar to Mahabaleshwar’, a specially curated Rajasthani food festival running from 15 to 31 October 2026. Inspired by Rajasthan's royal kitchens, the festival features traditional recipes, regional specialities and distinctive flavours that celebrate the state's rich culinary heritage.
Adding to the experience, an in-house chef from Le Méridien Jaipur has joined the culinary team at Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar to curate and present an exclusive chef-special menu. The selection highlights regional ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and recipes passed down through generations.
Guests can explore a range of Rajasthani specialities, including Dal Baati Churma, Laal Maas, Safed Maas, Jangali Mutton, Gatte Ki Curry, Papad Mangodi Ki Subzi and Aloo Pyaz Ki Subzi. Traditional accompaniments such as Rajasthani Lehsun Ki Chutney, Hare Mirchi Ka Kutta, Kachri Ki Chutney and Ghee with Gud add to the authentic flavours of the feast.
The festival also features a selection of regional appetisers, including Mathania Paneer Tikka, Maas Ke Sholay, Sangari Ki Tikki, Moong Dal Pakodi and Kachari Mathania Murgh Tikka. A live cooking counter featuring Dal Baati Churma gives guests the opportunity to enjoy one of Rajasthan's best-known culinary specialities as part of the dining experience. The dessert selection brings the meal to a sweet finish with traditional favourites such as Malpua with Rabdi, Malai Ghewar, Mawa Ghewar, Ajmeri Mawa Cake, Anjeer Ki Barfi and Moti Choor Ke Laddu.
Beyond the menu, the restaurant will feature Rajasthani-inspired décor that reflects the region's colourful traditions, royal heritage and cultural charm. The combination of traditional dishes, live cooking and themed surroundings aims to offer guests an immersive dining experience inspired by Rajasthan.
Through ‘Marwar to Mahabaleshwar’, Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar brings regional Indian cuisine into the spotlight, inviting guests to explore Rajasthan's culinary traditions while enjoying a special dining experience with family and friends. The festival is being held at Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar from 15 to 31 October 2026, with dinner served from 7:00 PM onwards.
