Crowne Plaza Greater Noida presents an extraordinary culinary celebration with “Kitchen of Mughals,” an exclusive food festival running from 17th to 31st May 2025 at its acclaimed Indian restaurant, Spice Art. This royal dining experience brings the opulence and rich flavours of Mughal cuisine to life, offering guests a taste of heritage, art, and timeless indulgence.
Transforming the venue into a majestic Durbar, Spice Art sets the stage for an immersive journey into the regal kitchens of the Mughal Empire. Guests can savour meticulously prepared dishes rooted in age-old techniques, aromatic spices, and luxurious presentations — a feast once reserved for emperors and nobility.
Curated by Chef Vijay, the menu revives heirloom recipes that reflect the soul of Mughlai cuisine. “Kitchen of Mughals is a tribute to the culinary artistry of the Mughal era. Every dish tells a story — from the royal courts to the bylanes of Awadh and Delhi. We’ve revived age-old techniques and recipes that capture the indulgent soul of this cuisine,” he shares.
The carefully crafted menu features royal delights such as:
Kakori Kebab – Minced meat kebabs seasoned and grilled to melt-in-the-mouth perfection.
Murgh Musallam – Whole chicken marinated in a royal spice blend and slow-cooked in rich gravy.
Bohri Raan – Aromatic leg of lamb prepared with celebratory spices.
Mahi Qaliya – A turmeric-infused yogurt fish curry, traditionally served at royal weddings.
Badami Paneer Korma – Creamy almond curry with tender paneer.
Muradabadi Gosht Biryani – Saffron-layered mutton biryani with whole spices.
Shahi Meetha – Saffron-soaked bread dessert with dry fruits and thickened milk.
Sharing his thoughts, Sharad K Upadhyay, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, said, “At Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, we continually seek to deliver immersive dining experiences. ‘Kitchen of Mughals’ is not just a meal – it’s a journey through the rich history and opulence of one of the world’s most celebrated culinary legacies.”
Along with its lavish spread, the event will feature live Indian classical music, regal ambience, and royal-style service, making it a must-attend for lovers of fine food and cultural heritage.
