Clarks Exotica Convention Resort and Spa successfully hosted DERMACON 2026, the 54th National Conference of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL), from January 28 to February 2, 2026. The six-day conference took place at the Ocean Convention Centre and brought together more than 5,000 dermatologists and venereologists from India and abroad.

Recognised as one of the most important global gatherings in dermatology and skin science, the conference once again highlighted Bangalore as a strong hub for large medical conventions.

The event was centred around the theme "Empowering Skin Science: Implications, Ingenuity & Inclusivity". Delegates attended academic sessions, workshops and panel discussions that focused on new research, dermatosurgery, clinical excellence and related specialties. An extensive exhibition also showcased the latest skincare products, dermatology equipment and clinical innovations.

All major venues at Clarks Exotica were fully utilised during the conference. These included the Ocean Convention Centre, Galaxy Grand Ballroom, Lotus Ballroom, Pool Side venue, Lily Conference Room, Rose Conference Room, Tulip Conference Room, Geneva Boardroom, Jasmine Conference Room, Sunflower Conference Room, and Orchid Conference Room. The setup allowed multiple parallel sessions, exhibitions and networking meetings to run smoothly throughout the event.
