DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square is celebrating Navratri with a specially curated fasting menu at GlassHouse from 11 to 20 October 2026, bringing traditional ingredients and festive flavours to an elevated dining setting.
Titled "Sacred Flavours – A Celebration of Fasting & Festivity," the Navratri à la carte menu has been designed for guests observing fasting rituals while looking for a refined dining experience during the nine-day festival.
The menu follows traditional Navratri dietary practices, with preparations made without onion, garlic or regular salt. Instead, sendha namak is used across the fasting-friendly dishes.
The curated menu brings together traditional ingredients commonly associated with Navratri fasting, including kuttu (buckwheat), singhara, sabudana, sama rice, potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, peanuts and dairy.
The preparations draw inspiration from North Indian Navratri cuisine while presenting familiar fasting ingredients through contemporary restaurant-style presentation. The menu also focuses on fresh, seasonal and sattvic preparations.
Beyond the food, GlassHouse will feature subtle elements inspired by the festival, including Navratri-themed décor, devotional instrumental music and dedicated menu inserts highlighting the significance and traditional use of key ingredients.
The experience also places emphasis on hygiene, purity and mindful cooking, reflecting the dietary and spiritual aspects associated with Navratri.
The menu is designed for guests observing the festival's fasting rituals as well as families and diners looking to explore seasonal vegetarian and sattvic cuisine during the festive period.
