Overview

Odia cuisine is getting a special place on Bengaluru's dining scene as DYN at Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks presents a curated Odia Food Festival from 9th September to 20th September.

Led by Chef Amiya Rout, the festival brings together time-honoured recipes, indigenous cooking techniques and locally sourced ingredients, offering diners an opportunity to discover the rich and regional character of Odisha's food traditions.

The menu brings together familiar classics and dishes that may be new to guests experiencing Odia cuisine for the first time. Highlights include the refreshing Tanka Torani, live Dahi Bara Aloo Dum, steaming Enduri Pitha, the much-loved Pakhala Bhaat and the classic Chena Poda.

The Curry House will add another layer to the experience with a rotating selection of regional specialities. Guests can explore dishes such as Poi Chungudi Chenchda, Khasi Mansa Tarkari, Kukkuda Tarkari and Chena Posto Tarkari, among others. The selection will change daily, allowing diners to discover different sides of Odia cooking throughout the festival.

The festival has been curated to introduce Bengaluru diners to a cuisine that remains relatively unexplored on the city's dining circuit. Each dish has been selected to reflect the depth, traditions and distinctive flavours of Odisha.
