Eros Hotel New Delhi is bringing the traditional flavours of Himachal Pradesh to the capital with the Himachal Dham Culinary Festival at Blooms, offering diners an opportunity to explore the state's regional food traditions from 23 to 31 October 2026.
Inspired by Himachal Pradesh's customary festive and community feasts, the festival celebrates the region's culinary heritage through traditional recipes, distinctive spices and comforting preparations. The menu has been curated by the hotel's chefs to introduce guests to the diversity of Himachali cuisine.
The spread features regional specialities such as Chana Madra, Siddu, Chha Gosht, Babru and Kheru, representing the variety of ingredients, cooking techniques and flavours associated with the Himalayan state.
Chana Madra, a chickpea preparation cooked in a yoghurt-based gravy, is a familiar part of Himachali festive cuisine. Siddu, a traditional steamed bread, reflects the region's local food traditions, while Chha Gosht showcases a rich, spiced meat preparation. Babru and Kheru add further regional character to the menu.
The culinary experience also includes traditional sweet offerings such as Apple Jalebi and Badana ka Meetha, bringing a festive finish to the meal.
Through the festival, Eros Hotel New Delhi aims to introduce diners to Himachal Pradesh's culinary identity, highlighting food as an expression of regional culture, community gatherings and local traditions. The showcase also offers guests an opportunity to discover dishes that are less commonly featured on mainstream restaurant menus.
Hosted at Blooms, the festival forms part of the hotel's dining programme celebrating India's diverse regional cuisines. With lunch and dinner sessions available throughout the event, the experience invites food enthusiasts to explore the flavours of Himachal Pradesh in the heart of New Delhi.
