Overview

Essensai067 is set to transport Whitefield into the enchanting world of Vrindavan with “Leela to Legacy”, a one-of-a-kind Janmashtami celebration taking place on Saturday, 16th August 2025, from 5:00 PM onwards. Designed as a multi-sensory experience, the festival promises to blend tradition, creativity, and community bonding in honour of Lord Krishna’s timeless legacy.

The festivities begin at the Amphitheatre with the Kids’ Krishna Fest and Fancy-Dress Parade, where children dressed as Krishna, Radha, and Gopikas bring the joyous spirit of Vrindavan to life. Each participant will receive a terracotta whistle, with special recognition for the Best Dressed Krishna and Radha.

In a symbolic tribute to Krishna’s playful childhood, the event will also see the inauguration of a new Kids Play Area, offering young visitors a vibrant space to laugh, play, and make memories.

The traditional Dahi Handi will be reimagined with a Pinata Pot Smash, showering chocolates and candies on delighted participants, while an ISKCON-led storytelling session will share timeless tales of Krishna’s divine adventures.

At 6:00 PM, attention shifts to Spinning Mill Street for an Art Unveiling Ceremony, celebrating Krishna’s cultural heritage through visual creativity.

As evening falls, the festival’s grand finale will unfold with an Abhaang Music Concert by acclaimed vocalist Priyal Sathe, whose soulful devotional verses will fill the air with spiritual resonance from 7:00 PM onwards.

Speaking about the festival, Haresh M Mirpuri, Founder of Essensai067, shared:

“Janmashtami is a reminder of life’s simple joys, the laughter of children, the warmth of tradition, and the unity of community. Just as Krishna’s leelas brought people together, we hope this celebration inspires connection, creativity, and belonging for all who join us.”

Visitors can also indulge in an array of food and beverage stalls throughout the evening, adding rich culinary flavours to the cultural celebration.

“Leela to Legacy” reflects Essensai067’s mission to create experiences that unite people through heritage, art, and hospitality,  ensuring that the spirit of Krishna is celebrated in both heartwarming and innovative ways.
