Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad is inviting guests to experience the vibrant spirit of Onam with an authentic Kerala Sadhya at Mazzo Rooftop Bar. The festive dining experience will be hosted on September 4 and 5, 2025, bringing the traditional flavors of Kerala to the heart of Hyderabad.
The Grand Sadhya has been carefully curated by Executive Chef Suresh Rajan Pillai, who brings together over 25 dishes that showcase Kerala’s rich culinary heritage. Guests will be treated to classic preparations such as Sharkara Varatti, sweet banana chips delicately coated with jaggery syrup, dry ginger, and cardamom and Inji Puli, a tangy-sweet relish made with ginger, tamarind, green chilies, and jaggery. Other specialties include Kootu Curry, a hearty dish of yam and black chickpeas cooked in a roasted coconut gravy, and Olan, a light yet flavorful combination of ash gourd and cowpeas simmered in coconut milk.
The feast concludes with Kerala’s much-loved desserts such as Ada Pradhaman, a traditional sweet prepared with rice ada, jaggery, coconut milk, and roasted cashews and Theeyal, a roasted coconut-based gravy featuring shallots and spices.
Served on traditional banana leaves with Kerala’s signature red Matta rice, the Sadhya offers diners an immersive cultural and culinary journey. Each dining session lasts an hour, ensuring a warm and authentic experience in a festive setting.
