Chin Chin at The Residency Chennai is hosting a Filipino Food Festival, offering guests an opportunity to explore the diverse and vibrant flavours of Filipino cuisine. The festival brings together a thoughtfully curated selection of both popular and lesser-known dishes from the region, highlighting the richness of the Philippines’ culinary traditions.
The property has collaborated with Chef Elle, a chef of Philippine origin, who began her culinary journey at the young age of eight. Drawing from her cultural roots and personal experiences, Chef Elle presents a menu that reflects authentic flavours, comforting recipes, and traditional cooking techniques unique to Filipino cuisine.
Speaking about the festival, Mr. Venkatesh, General Manager – The Residency Chennai, said,
“At The Residency, we believe food is one of the most powerful ways to experience a culture. This festival is not just about food, it is about cultural storytelling. Hosting the Filipino Food Festival allows us to bring the vibrant flavors, rich culinary traditions and warm hospitality of the Philippines to our guests, creating an immersive dining experience that goes beyond the plate, offering our guests a deeper connection to the Philippines and its rich culinary heritage.”
The festival menu features a variety of signature Filipino dishes including Chicken Adobo, Cheese and Chicken Dynamites, Pansit Bihon, Pansit Molo, Sinigang Na Hipon, Lumpiang Shanghai, and traditional desserts such as Buko Pandan. Each dish reflects the balance of tangy, savoury, and comforting flavours that define Filipino food culture.
The Filipino Food Festival at Chin Chin is open for both lunch and dinner and will run until February 1, 2026, inviting food lovers in Chennai to experience a distinct culinary journey rooted in culture, flavour, and storytelling
