Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is inviting guests to experience the flavours and artistic spirit of Vietnam with From Hoi An, With Love: On a Plate. On Canvas. Hosted at Far & East from July 10 to 19, the limited-time showcase combines authentic Central Vietnamese cuisine with contemporary Vietnamese art, offering an immersive cultural experience.
The event brings together two distinct elements of Vietnam's heritage. Chef Tran Thanh Cong, Chef de Cuisine at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An, presents a menu inspired by generations of family recipes and the balanced, simple flavours that define Central Vietnamese cooking.
Complementing the dining experience is a curated art exhibition featuring works by Phan Hong Thanh, Duc Vet, Phan Van Thanh, Minh Du and other renowned Vietnamese artists. The collection reflects Vietnam's landscapes, daily life and evolving cultural identity, allowing guests to explore the country's heritage through both food and visual storytelling.
Created exclusively for Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, Chef Cong's menu showcases regional specialities, beginning with a selection of appetisers followed by comforting bowls of Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu Cua. Signature main courses include Seabass Grilled in Banana Leaf with galangal and turmeric, Charcoal-Grilled Free-Range Chicken served with turmeric rice and ginger nuoc cham, and Tiger Prawns in Lemongrass Butter. The meal concludes with a classic Vietnamese crème caramel.
The accompanying art exhibition extends the experience beyond the table, with each artwork highlighting Vietnam's rich heritage, landscapes and craftsmanship. Set within the elegant ambience of Far & East, the exhibition creates a meaningful connection between culinary traditions and artistic expression.
