In a vibrant celebration of culture, comfort, and culinary connection, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is bringing the spirit of homestyle Mexican cooking to its acclaimed restaurant, CUR8, with the special pop-up – Vamos a Comer.
Running from 22nd to 25th May 2025, this soulful four-day experience is led by Chef Erika, who brings to the table the warmth of her family kitchen from Jalisco, Mexico. Rather than fusing or modernising, her cooking honours the traditions of Mexican cuisine with a focus on flavour, authenticity, and nostalgia.
“At Four Seasons, our culinary legacy is rooted in celebrating chefs who cook with heart... With this special pop-up at CUR8... we are proud to present Chef Erika’s soulful Mexican cuisine,” shared General Manager Biswajit Chakraborty.
Guests can expect favourites like Crema de Frijol—a velvety bean soup topped with crema and fresh cilantro, Chilaquiles—crispy tortilla chips simmered in zesty salsa, and Guacamole with Totopos—a creamy blend of avocado, lime, and cilantro served with crunchy tortilla chips.
Desserts come straight from cherished family traditions: Centenarios, her grandmother’s buttery cookies with fruit preserves, and Pan de Elote, a moist corn cake kissed with dulce de leche.
This pop-up is more than just a meal—it’s a heartfelt invitation into Chef Erika’s culinary roots, influenced by the lush landscapes of Lake Chapala and the timeless wisdom of her grandmother’s kitchen.
