Garden Cafe is celebrating Independence Day with a special South Indian-inspired menu featuring its newly introduced range of Benne Dosas, alongside festive Tricolour Idlis and Dosas, across its Kolkata outlets on 15 August 2026.

The Independence Day Special brings together five varieties of benne dosa, each prepared fresh on the tawa and finished with butter, offering diners different takes on the popular South Indian classic.

The menu includes Benne Plain Dosa, Benne Masala Dosa, Benne Podi Plain Dosa, Benne Podi Masala Dosa and Benne Garlic Roast Dosa.

The Benne Plain Dosa offers a crisp and buttery preparation, while the Benne Masala Dosa features the classic potato filling. The podi variants add a layer of spice and flavour, while the Benne Garlic Roast Dosa combines garlic with the roasted, buttery character of the dosa.

Adding a festive touch to the menu are Tricolour Idlis and Tricolour Dosas, presented in saffron, white and green to mark India's Independence Day.

The special menu is designed to bring together familiar South Indian flavours with a patriotic festive touch, with dosas prepared fresh on the tawa throughout the day.
