Mark your calendars for May 5-7, 2024, as Rajasthan gears up to host the much-awaited 13th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) in the vibrant city of Jaipur. Organized jointly by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), this event promises to be a melting pot of cultural immersion and business opportunities in the heart of India’s tourism landscape.

What to Expect:

GITB serves as an exclusive platform for inbound tourism in India, facilitating over 11,000 structured pre-scheduled B2B meetings between foreign tour operators (Buyers) from more than 50 countries and Indian Sellers. With the participation of over 280 foreign tour operators and around 200 Indian exhibitors, the event is a testament to the growing interest in India’s tourism offerings.

The event will feature an exhibition boasting over 300 booths, showcasing the diverse offerings of Destination Management Companies (DMCs), State Tourism Boards, hotels, and more. From cultural extravaganzas to culinary delights, GITB promises an immersive experience for attendees.

One of the highlights of GITB is the Inaugural and Knowledge Session, where industry leaders and government officials will share insights and strategies to drive tourism growth. Additionally, a Knowledge paper on Inbound Tourism will be released, shedding light on emerging trends and opportunities in the sector.

Networking opportunities abound at the Inaugural Networking Dinner & Cocktails, providing a platform for stakeholders to foster meaningful connections and collaborations. Post-event Familiarization (FAM) Tours will offer buyers a chance to explore Rajasthan’s rich heritage and hospitality beyond the conference halls.

Wed in India Expo:

Adding a touch of glamour to the event is the “Wed in India” theme, reflecting Rajasthan’s prominence as a premier destination for destination weddings. The expo will feature panel discussions with international and national-level wedding planners, showcasing Rajasthan’s heritage forts and havelis as ideal wedding venues.

Representatives from over 50 countries, including Argentina, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the USA, and more, will converge at GITB to explore collaboration opportunities and promote tourism initiatives.
