Holiday Inn Gurugram Sector 90 is set to bring the flavours, aromas and culinary traditions of Purani Dilli to Gurugram with Dawat-e-Dilli, a special food festival from 5 to 13 September 2026.
Taking place from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the culinary festival will be curated by Executive Chef Prakash Yadav, who will recreate some of Old Delhi's much-loved street food and traditional dishes.
Inspired by the bustling streets and food culture of Purani Dilli, Dawat-e-Dilli is designed as an immersive dining experience that goes beyond the food. The restaurant will feature themed décor inspired by Old Delhi, while themed music will recreate the lively atmosphere associated with the historic neighbourhood.
The menu will bring together a selection of Mughlai specialities and Old Delhi favourites. Guests can savour dishes including Nihari, Mutton Korma, Shami Kebab, Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken.
The vegetarian selection will feature familiar Delhi favourites such as Kulchas, Kachoris, Stuffed Parathas and Chole Bhature.
The festival will also celebrate the street-food culture of Delhi with a dedicated chaat selection. Guests can enjoy Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Gol Gappe, Aloo Tikki and Fruit Chaat, bringing the flavours of the city's iconic food lanes to the hotel.
The culinary journey will conclude with a selection of traditional desserts, including Daulat Ki Chaat, Shahi Tukda, Jalebi Rabri and Kadai Wala Doodh Jalebi.
Speaking about the festival, Executive Chef Prakash Yadav said, “Purani Dilli is not just a place, it is an emotion expressed through food. Every dish has a story, from the slow-cooked richness of Nihari and Mutton Korma to the lively flavours of chaat and the nostalgia of jalebi with rabri. With Dawat-e-Dilli, our aim is to bring the spirit of those bustling streets to Gurugram and give our guests an experience that feels both authentic and nostalgic. It is a celebration of the food, memories and traditions that make Dilli truly special.”
Through Dawat-e-Dilli, Holiday Inn Gurugram Sector 90 aims to recreate the distinctive character of Old Delhi through its cuisine, ambience and hospitality, offering guests an opportunity to experience familiar flavours in a contemporary hotel setting.
