Holiday Inn Gurugram Sector 90 is set to bring the royal culinary traditions of Awadh to the city with its specially curated Jashn-e-Awadh Food Festival, taking place from May 8 to 17, 2026, at Viva All Day Dining.
The festival promises an immersive dining experience inspired by the rich culture, timeless recipes, and refined hospitality of Awadh. To complement the culinary journey, the restaurant has been transformed with an Awadhi-inspired décor theme, creating an atmosphere that reflects the elegance and warmth of the region’s royal heritage.
Curated by Executive Chef Prakash Yadav in collaboration with Chef Mohammad Ramzan Qureshi, the festival showcases authentic Awadhi dishes prepared using traditional cooking methods and recipes passed down through generations.
The experience begins with refreshing Sharbat-e-Mohabbat infused with dried rose petals, followed by the nostalgic pairing of Hazratganj Ki Chai and Bun Makkhan. Guests can then indulge in signature Awadhi delicacies such as Dal Sultani, Kofta-e-Shaan, Awadhi Korma, Nalli Nihari, and the iconic Lucknow Dum Biryani, celebrated for its delicate layering of spices and slow-cooked richness.
The culinary journey concludes with traditional desserts including Shaahi Tukda, Jalebi Dahi, Imarti, and Rabri, offering guests a sweet finale rooted in Awadhi culinary heritage.
Speaking about the festival, Prakash Yadav said, “Jashn-e-Awadh is our tribute to the royal kitchens of Awadh. We have focused on preserving authenticity while creating an experience that delights modern diners.”
Adding to this, Krishan Kumar shared, “We are excited to bring this unique culinary journey to our guests. The festival is designed not just as a dining experience, but as a celebration of Awadhi culture, hospitality and flavours.”
With its thoughtfully curated menu, authentic preparation styles, and immersive setting, Jashn-e-Awadh aims to offer guests a memorable exploration of one of India’s most celebrated regional cuisines.
