Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai is bringing together two special milestones this August — India’s 80th year of Independence and the hotel’s fourth anniversary. To mark the occasion, Sesame will host a special Independence Day brunch on 15 August 2026, celebrating India’s rich food traditions along with the local community that has been part of the hotel’s journey.
Inspired by the colours of the Indian tricolour, the brunch will feature a mix of regional Indian favourites, international classics and a wide selection of desserts. The four-year journey of Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai has seen the hotel welcome travellers, families and guests from the neighbourhood, becoming a place for both everyday dining and special occasions. The Independence Day brunch continues this spirit by bringing guests together to celebrate the country’s journey and the hotel’s four years in Juhu.
The festive buffet will begin with interactive Pasta and Chaat Counters, followed by a selection of salads such as Tricolour Crunch Salad, Young India Power Bowl, Roasted Carrot Hummus, Herb Labneh, and Parmesan Prawns with Grilled Figs.
The appetisers will include Aachari Paneer, Tricolour Arancini Balls, Fish Kasundi Tikka and Wok-Tossed Chicken. Guests can also enjoy Roasted Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Walnut Soup.
The main course brings together Indian and Asian flavours with dishes such as Tiranga Paneer Pasanda, Tricoloured Lasagna, Dal Makhani, Murgh Nilgiri Korma, Chicken Kapitan Curry, Herb Crusted River Sole with Caper & Cherry Tomato Sauce, Prawn in Thai Red Curry and Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. These will be served alongside Zaffrani Subz Motiya Pulao and steamed rice.
For sushi lovers, the menu also features a selection of vegetarian and seafood maki, nigiri and rolls. The dessert selection adds a festive finish with Tiranga Barfi, Angoori Gulab Jamun, Malai Sandwich, Kalakand, Orange Mousse, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Coconut Mango Gateaux, Japanese Roulade, Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and more.
Sharing the thought behind the celebration, the hotel said, “This year holds special significance for the hotel as we celebrate both India’s 80th Independence Day and Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai’s fourth anniversary. We wanted to create a brunch that brings people together over flavours that reflect the diversity of our country while thanking our guests and local community for being part of our journey over the past four years.”
The Independence Day brunch will be held on 15 August 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at Sesame, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai.
