ITC Grand Central marked International Day of Yoga with a thoughtfully curated morning dedicated to mindfulness, movement, and holistic wellbeing. Held on June 21, 2026, at the hotel’s Terrace Garden, the annual wellness initiative was organised in association with Airbound Academy and welcomed guests, wellness enthusiasts, and members of the community.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of the open-air terrace, the session was led by yoga instructor Masuma Mun, who guided participants through a practice that combined mindful movement, breathwork, and moments of reflection. The experience encouraged attendees to step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with themselves through the timeless discipline of yoga.9
The yoga session, conducted from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, was followed by a specially curated breakfast designed around the principles of nourishment and balance. The wholesome spread complemented the wellness-focused morning, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on healthy living.
The celebration was further enhanced through partnerships with wellness and lifestyle brands, including Poppy by Opium, TEGO, SEVA Home, and The Func. Lab, all of whom contributed to creating an environment centred on conscious and mindful living.
Commenting on the occasion, Kunal Pahwa, General Manager of ITC Grand Central Mumbai, noted that wellness remains an integral part of the hotel’s approach to guest experiences and community engagement. He highlighted that the annual yoga celebration reflects the property’s commitment to promoting mindfulness, balance, and holistic wellbeing.
Over the years, ITC Grand Central Mumbai has continued to commemorate International Day of Yoga as part of its broader philosophy of responsible luxury. Through wellness-driven experiences and community-focused initiatives, the hotel aims to create opportunities for guests to pause, rejuvenate, and embrace a more balanced lifestyle.
