JW Café at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar is set to take diners on a flavour-led journey with A Spice Affair, a one-day-only global spice brunch that redefines how chillies and aromatics are experienced. Moving beyond the idea of sheer heat, the brunch focuses on how spices add depth, balance, and character to cuisines across the world.

Conceptualised as a culinary exploration of the global spice route, the brunch brings together live stations and signature dishes inspired by some of the world’s most iconic chillies and spice blends. From the gentle warmth of Kashmiri chilli and smoky Mexican chipotle to African peri-peri, Middle Eastern za’atar, Sichuan pepper, and Southeast Asia’s bird’s eye chilli, each preparation reflects its cultural roots while remaining accessible to diverse palates.

The winter-forward menu spans fiery soups, chilli-led starters, tandoor specialities, global mains, spiced grains, and thoughtfully crafted desserts. Techniques such as roasting, grilling, fermenting, and slow cooking are used to build layers of flavour, allowing spices to shine without overpowering the dish.

Adding an interactive dimension, the brunch features aroma-led tablescapes and a dedicated spice bar where guests can see, smell, and understand spices in their raw form.
