JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar is set to celebrate World Gin Day with The Garden of Elsewhere, a six-night immersive cocktail experience at EL, the hotel’s rooftop bar, from June 16 to 21, 2026.

Transforming the rooftop into an after-dark botanical garden, the concept brings together six distinctive gins from six different countries, offering guests an opportunity to explore unique flavour profiles inspired by the botanicals, traditions and character of each destination.

The experience features Hapusa from India, Roku from Japan, Malfy from Italy, Monkey 47 from Germany, Hendrick’s from Scotland and a classic London Dry Gin from the United Kingdom. Each spirit is showcased through a specially curated gin and tonic creation designed to highlight its origin, flavour profile and botanical heritage.

Adding a hyperlocal element to the experience, fresh herbs and botanicals sourced from the JW Garden have been incorporated into the cocktail programme, creating distinctive serves that blend international influences with garden-fresh ingredients.

Moving beyond the traditional bar experience, guests will be served through a roaming gin cart that travels directly to tables. Cocktails will be finished and garnished in front of guests, with carefully selected tonics and botanicals tailored to complement each gin and enhance the overall experience.

Designed as an interactive celebration of gin culture, The Garden of Elsewhere combines storytelling, mixology and botanical exploration in a setting that captures the energy of Mumbai’s nightlife while offering a fresh perspective on one of the world’s most versatile spirits.

With customised serves, immersive presentation and rooftop views, EL at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar aims to create a memorable World Gin Day experience that celebrates craftsmanship, flavour and discovery.
