Kerala’s pop-culture calendar marks a milestone moment as Kochi Comic Con prepares for its maiden edition on February 28 and March 1, 2026. Presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena and powered by Crunchyroll, the two-day celebration will take place at the Adlux International Convention Center, bringing global icons and India’s leading creators closer to fans in Kochi. Headlining the international guest list is acclaimed American comic book artist and writer Dan Parent. Known for his long-standing association with Archie Comics, Parent rose to prominence with Love Showdown (1994) and has since delivered memorable crossovers such as Archie vs. Sharknado and Archie Meets Batman '66. He also co-created the Kickstarter-funded series Die Kitty Die, cementing his global fan following. Joining him are nineteen celebrated Indian comic artists and storytellers representing the heart of the country’s creative ecosystem. The line-up includes Savio Mascarenhas of Amar Chitra Katha, muralist Rajesh Nagulakonda, Holy Cow Entertainment founder Vivek Goel, illustrator Abhijeet Kini, global visual artist Amrit Pal Singh, and Saumin Patel, known for work spanning graphic novels and cinematic adaptations. Attendees can expect artist interactions, panel discussions, signings, and creative showcases across the weekend. Beyond comics, the entertainment slate expands into music and performance. Acts include MHR (Mohammed Hussain Rahman), Malayalam hip-hop voice Joker (Fazin Rasheed), genre-blending duo Purple Line, and pop-culture comedy collective Geek Fruit. The comedy segment features Rohan Joshi, Gautham Govindan, and Nirmal Pillai, promising sharp humour and high-energy stage presence. The show floor will offer exclusive merchandise, rare collectibles, and pop-culture apparel. Immersive zones include the Maruti Suzuki Arena Zone, the Crunchyroll Zone catering to anime enthusiasts, and the NODWIN Gaming Arena for the city’s gaming community. With single-day passes priced at ₹899 and doors open from 11 AM to 8 PM, Kochi Comic Con 2026 positions itself as a landmark cultural celebration, uniting global creators, Indian talent, and Kerala’s passionate fan base under one roof.
