Le Royal Méridien Chennai welcomed the Christmas season with The Festive Mix 2026, a grand Cake Mixing Ceremony held at its beautifully decorated lobby, bringing together celebrities, distinguished guests, influencers, HNIs and media representatives.

The celebration was graced by Mrs. Visalakshi Periasamy, Vice Chairperson of PGP Group, Prof. Ranganathan J., Honorary Consul of Myanmar, renowned percussionist Padma Shri Drums Sivamani, singer Runa Rizvi Sivamani and actress Komal Sharma.

Mrs. Visalakshi Periasamy expressed her happiness at seeing guests and the entire Le Royal Méridien Chennai team come together to celebrate the cherished Christmas tradition, highlighting the joy of togetherness and shared celebrations.

Adding a spectacular surprise to the occasion, Drums Sivamani delivered an electrifying live percussion performance, while his wife, Runa Rizvi Sivamani, delighted the audience with her soulful singing, creating unforgettable moments.

Led by Executive Chef Rajesh Pawar and his culinary team, the traditional cake-mixing ceremony featured dried fruits, nuts, raisins and aromatic spices, which will be soaked and matured over the coming weeks before being transformed into rich Christmas cakes.
