Bengaluru’s lively gastro-bar Maize & Malt is turning the spotlight on seafood this season with a specially curated Seafood Festival, running through January. Known for its relaxed vibe and bold flavours, the venue brings together fresh ocean produce, global techniques, and spice-forward preparations for a limited-period menu designed for seafood lovers.
The festival menu travels across India’s coastal kitchens while drawing inspiration from South-East Asian and European flavours. Highlights include Crispy Chilli Baby Octopus tossed with garlic, chilli and Sichuan pepper, Golden Squid Rings in a light tempura paired with harissa aioli, and Mangalorean Pepper Prawns finished with curry leaves and ghee.
Seafood classics are reimagined with indulgent twists, from Soft Shell Crab in Chilli Garlic Sauce and Beer-Battered Fish Fingers to the robust flavours of Amritsari Tandoori Pomfret. For guests who enjoy rich, saucy preparations, the menu also features Goan-style Prawns Balchão, Thai Red Curry Mussels, Mussels Malabar Style, and Butter Pepper Garlic Prawns.
With its mix of familiar comfort and global flair, the Maize & Malt Seafood Festival is well suited for relaxed dinners, weekend gatherings, and flavour-led evenings in the city.
The festival is on from 5 January to 31 January 2026 at Maize & Malt, located at 3, 4th Cross Road, near Whitefield, Vigneshwar Nagar, Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru. It is open daily from 12:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with pricing starting at ₹1200 for two people. Reservations can be made on 063648 32589.
