This Onam, Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad is bringing the flavours and traditions of Kerala to the city with an authentic Onam Sadhya, curated by Head Chef Suresh Rajan Pillai.

The traditional sit-down feast brings together Kerala’s cherished recipes, festive flavours and the spirit of togetherness that makes Onam one of the state’s most loved celebrations.

With more than a decade of culinary experience, Chef Suresh’s cooking reflects his Malaysian heritage, upbringing in Madurai and appreciation for the diverse regional cuisines of South India, including Kerala’s coastal food traditions. He has previously curated traditional Onam Sadhyas and South Indian dining experiences at the property.

His approach combines respect for traditional recipes with a contemporary understanding of regional cuisine, creating a Sadhya that stays connected to its roots while offering guests a memorable dining experience.

The feast will feature an elaborate selection of traditional Kerala specialities, including comforting curries, vegetable preparations, classic accompaniments, pickles and indulgent payasams. Served in the traditional sit-down format, the Sadhya will showcase the warmth, abundance and culinary heritage associated with the festival. Guests can experience the Onam Sadhya at Mazzo and Altair on the specified dates, making it an opportunity to celebrate the festival with authentic Kerala flavours in Hyderabad.
