Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad and JW Marriott Kolkata have come together for an exclusive bar takeover at Mazzo, with 2:Fifty9 The Bar collaborating for a two-day showcase on January 30 and 31. The event promises a refined cocktail experience that highlights craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary bar culture.

The spotlight will be on Lakshay Tamang, mixologist from JW Marriott Kolkata and winner of Marriott International’s Regional “Raise the Bar” Competition. For this special collaboration, Lakshay will take over Mazzo’s rooftop bar, presenting a curated menu of signature cocktails that reflect refined techniques and the distinctive flair of JW Marriott’s bar philosophy.

Guests can expect an inventive line-up of cocktails that push the boundaries of mixology. The menu includes Taxi Queen, a layered blend of bourbon and vanilla tea with Talisker and fresh red apple juice. Griffin's Kiss brings together blue pea vodka, rose gin and grapefruit in a visually striking, floral-forward drink. Gin lovers can explore GG, which features a Gondhoraj shrub paired with gin and simple syrup, offering a refreshing nod to indigenous flavours.

For those seeking bold profiles, OH MY GHEE combines dark rum, Arabica coffee, bourbon whiskey, ghee and sesame oil in an indulgent fusion, while Mr. J delivers a spirited mix of jalapeño tequila, kasundi and cucumber shrub, finished with sparkling water for a spicy and tangy finish.

Set under the open sky, the two evenings are designed to offer an immersive experience where innovative cocktails meet a relaxed rooftop ambience, making it a standout addition to Hyderabad’s evolving bar scene.
