Moon Tree Café at Sayaji Kolhapur is bringing the iconic Bavarian festival, Oktoberfest, to the city from September 20 to October 5. Inspired by Munich’s legendary Volksfest that began in 1810 during Crown Prince Ludwig’s royal wedding, the café promises to recreate the lively spirit of Bavaria for guests to enjoy.

The café has transformed its ambience with themed décor, including beer barrels, drapes, posters, and cut-outs, while the Sayaji team welcomes guests in traditional Bavarian attire. The setting captures the essence of Munich’s Oktoberfest, making it a visual and festive treat.

Guests can indulge in authentic German dishes prepared by the café’s chef, including Pretzels, Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, Kartoffel Salat, Bavarian Chspieß (skewers), Chicken Jambonette, and Almond Horseshoe, all paired with refreshing craft beers.

“The main aim of the grand celebration is to make guests enjoy every bite of a meal. Each dish has been curated as a testament to rich flavors of Germany, from the comfort of a soft Pretzel to the hearty taste of Bratwurst. We want our guests to have the gastronomical experience and festivity of Bavaria,” said Kishan Gunjal, Executive Chef, Sayaji Kolhapur.
