Mumbai's festive calendar is bringing together regional cuisine and traditional dance this Navratri, with ITC Maratha and The Club, Mumbai, offering dining and celebration experiences for guests and members.

From a Gujarati food festival at Peshwa Pavilion to a members-only Garba evening at Colonial Hall, the events offer different ways to mark the festive season through food, music and community gatherings.

ITC Maratha Presents a Gujarati Food Festival

Peshwa Pavilion at ITC Maratha will host a special Gujarati food festival on October 9 and 10 for dinner, followed by a festive brunch on October 11. The menu celebrates Gujarat's culinary heritage through traditional snacks, regional mains and classic desserts.

The spread includes Gujarati favourites such as Patra, Lilva Kachori and Dahi Vada, alongside main-course dishes including Ringana Batatanu Shaak, Dal Dhokli and Kadhi Khichdi.

Traditional sweets will complete the menu, with Basundi, Malpua with Rabdi and Kesar Pista Shrikhand among the highlights.

The festival offers diners an opportunity to explore familiar Gujarati flavours in a hotel dining setting during the Navratri season.

The Club, Mumbai, Hosts a Members-Only Garba Evening

At Colonial Hall, The Club, Mumbai, Navratri celebrations will take the form of a members-only evening of Garba, music and festive dining on October 13.

Scheduled from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the event will bring members together for traditional dance and music, complemented by a wide selection of vegetarian dishes available to order.

The food menu combines international favourites with Indian classics. Options include hand-tossed pizzas, Penne Alfredo, loaded fries, truffle edamame dimsums, baos, sushi rolls and Burmese Khao Suey.

Indian offerings include Benne Dosa, Hakka Noodles with Veg Manchurian, and Veg Fried Rice with Chilli Paneer. Guests observing fasting traditions can also opt for Sabudana Wada, while dessert choices include Lotus Biscoff Tiramisu and kulfi.

The food will be served à la carte and charged separately. The celebration is exclusively for members of The Club.
