Mumbai’s rapidly growing padel scene is set for an action-packed weekend from 27th February to 1st March 2026, with two major leagues bringing competitive energy to courts across the city. From franchise-led showdowns to community-driven rivalries, players and spectators alike can expect three days of fast rallies and strategic match play. The School Parents Padel League 2.0 returns under the banner of the Indian Padel Tour, hosted by PadelPark India at the Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club. Featuring 16 teams, the three-day tournament follows a Davis Cup–style format across Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles categories, all competing for one overall championship title. Blending school pride with sporting ambition, SPPL 2.0 brings together parents from leading Mumbai schools for spirited competition and community-focused camaraderie. The format encourages teamwork while maintaining an edge of friendly rivalry, making it one of the more distinctive fixtures on the city’s sporting calendar. Simultaneously, Padel 360 League launches at Padel 360, the city’s first fully indoor, air-conditioned premium padel and pickleball facility. Organised in association with Bayside Sports, the league features six franchise teams formed through an Icon Player auction and follows a Round Robin plus Knockout format, with over 60 matches scheduled across three days. The player lineup includes prominent circuit names such as Aryan Goveas, Adil Kalyanpur, Rahul Motwani and Krishiv Patel, representing teams like Emgee Strikers, Hebbar Vedanta Warriors, AICL Aces, Nuke Knockouts, Foo Falcons and Bandeja Brigade. Backed by a prize pool of ₹5.5 lakh plus additional prizes, the tournament elevates the competitive stakes while offering live streaming, jersey reveals, performance analytics, and curated food and beverage experiences for spectators. From high-stakes franchise battles in Worli to spirited school competition at Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club, Mumbai is in for a weekend where sport meets community. Whether stepping onto the court or cheering from the sidelines, the city’s padel enthusiasts can expect an energetic celebration of one of India’s fastest-growing racquet sports.
