This February, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru presents Mystical Moods, the latest installment in its rotating art exhibition series at CUR8, the hotel’s stylish all-day dining venue. Running from February 6 to March 6, 2025, this showcase invites guests and art enthusiasts to experience the depths of human connection through contemporary artistic expression.
“At the heart of this exhibition, hosted at CUR8—our dining venue that is now taking art beyond the confines of galleries—lies the Four Seasons ethos to inspire connection, foster kindness, and celebrate shared stories across cultures and generations,” shares General Manager Biswajit Chakraborty. “With each new showcase, we aim to offer fresh perspectives on the evolving artistic landscape of the city, appealing to both seasoned art lovers and casual observers.”
Featuring works by five of Bengaluru’s most celebrated contemporary artists—Yusuf Arakkal, Meena Das Narayan, Ganesh Doddamani, Prabhu Harsoor, and C.F. John—Mystical Moods explores themes of spirituality, identity, and self-reflection. Each artist brings a unique perspective to the exhibition, creating an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary.
Ganesh Doddamani’s pieces draw inspiration from personal memories and folklore, crafting dreamlike landscapes that feel both familiar and otherworldly. The exhibition also honors the legacy of the late Yusuf Arakkal, whose melancholic hues and brooding figures delve into themes of isolation and longing. Meanwhile, Meena Das Narayan’s vibrant works capture the intricacies of human emotion, adding a dynamic contrast to the collection. C.F. John’s powerful yet unsettling pieces challenge viewers to confront societal truths, while Prabhu Harsoor’s abstract works provide a striking contrast to the more figurative elements in the exhibition.
By bringing contemporary art into a dining space, CUR8 offers a refreshing take on artistic engagement, making art more accessible to the public in an informal yet immersive setting.
