The unmistakable charm of Punjab’s rich culinary heritage is taking center stage in Vijayawada as Novotel Vijayawada Varun hosts the Punjabi Zaika Utsav, a vibrant 10-day food festival.

Held at the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant, Food Exchange, the festival is a tribute to the flavours of North India, offering an immersive dining experience that’s steeped in tradition and taste. Curated by Chef Smruti Ranjan Das, the menu brings together some of the most loved dishes from Punjab’s kitchens, prepared using traditional cooking techniques.

Guests can look forward to indulging in iconic delicacies like Chole Bhature, Amritsari Kulcha, Butter Chicken, and Dal Makhani, among many other regional favourites. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the authentic spices, smoky textures, and rich aromas that define Punjabi cuisine.

To elevate the festive mood, the restaurant is decked out in décor inspired by Punjab’s vibrant mustard fields and cultural spirit. Adding to the atmosphere, live folk music performances during the evening hours will enhance the dining experience with a touch of traditional entertainment.
