Olive Beach in Bengaluru has always had a way of making its dining experiences feel like more than just a meal. This Women's Day, the iconic Mediterranean restaurant took that philosophy to the bar, launching a limited-edition cocktail menu that's as much about the women behind the drinks as the drinks themselves.
Titled "This Is A Woman's World, We're All Just Drinking It In," the menu runs from March 8 to March 22 and features five signature cocktails, each co-created with an accomplished woman from a different field. The Olive Beach bar team worked closely with each collaborator to translate their personality, preferences, and journey into a drink. The result is a menu that feels personal, layered, and genuinely worth exploring.
Shreya Krishnan, Managing Director of AnitaB.org India and Chair of UNESCO's Women for Ethical AI, South Asia, brings Lady in Red to the table: a bold blend of gin, tamarind, and jaggery-chilli cordial, finished with ginger tepache. It's a drink with depth and a bit of a kick, which feels very on-brand.
Razia Ali, Founder of The Blend Community and Profuel Foods, presents Spicy Señorita, combining tequila with pickled jalapeño, fresh gooseberries, agave, and lemon. Bright, lively, and unapologetically bold.
Sheena Hinduja, fitness entrepreneur and Founder of The Pilates Studio Bangalore and BlackBxin, offers Hello Rosé!, an elegant mix of rosé wine topped with sparkling wine and finished with a slice of orange. Light, celebratory, and exactly what the name promises.
Former Miss India and Founder of Confidence Code, Noyonita Lodh introduces Coco Couture: vodka, coconut syrup, Malibu coconut rum, and fresh lime juice. Tropical, smooth, and designed to be enjoyed slowly.
Rounding out the menu is Sparkle, created by PR professional and SparkplugInc Co-founder Prarthna Vohra. Whisky meets strawberries, mint, muscovado sugar, house-made orange bitters, and lime in a cocktail that balances warmth with freshness.
Each drink on the menu comes with a short introduction to the woman behind it, giving guests context and a story to go with every sip. On March 8th specifically, women guests received the first cocktail from the menu on the house, a gesture that set the right tone for the celebration.
