PRISM, founded by Ritesh Agarwal, is set to host the annual franchise convention for G6 Hospitality at Moon Palace Cancún from April 27 to 29, 2026.
The event will bring together franchise owners and partners from across North America, including a strong presence of Indian-American entrepreneurs, particularly from the Gujarati community. The gathering marks a significant moment for India’s global business footprint, highlighting the long-standing contribution of Indian-origin hoteliers to the American hospitality landscape.
This convention is one of the largest since PRISM completed its acquisition of G6 Hospitality in December 2024. The iconic Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, with widespread operations across the United States and Canada, now operate under Indian ownership, an achievement that resonates strongly within the Indian diaspora.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritesh Agarwal said, “Motel 6 and Studio 6 have been built by the grit, sacrifice, and entrepreneurial spirit of several franchise partners, including Indian-Americans, particularly from Gujarat. Bringing this community together in Cancún is not just a business convention, it is a celebration of what Indian entrepreneurship can achieve on the global stage. This is India’s moment, and we are proud of it.”
The convention will also spotlight India’s cultural vibrancy with performances by renowned artists. Sonu Nigam will headline the gala evening on April 29, while Falguni Pathak will lead a high-energy cultural night on April 28, celebrating Gujarati heritage through music and garba.
Adding entertainment to the lineup, Sunil Grover will bring his signature humour to the stage, and Rishabh Sharma will open the convention with a classical sitar performance on April 27.
Alongside cultural programming, the convention will feature a robust agenda of business sessions addressing key industry topics. These include hotel valuation and exit strategies, succession planning, financing in a high-interest rate environment, AI-powered property management, revenue optimisation, extended stay growth, safety protocols, trafficking risk prevention, and next-generation leadership in family-run hospitality businesses.
Highlighting the importance of the event, Sonal Sinha said, “This conference represents an important milestone for us. Over the past year, we have worked closely with our franchise partners to strengthen the business, bring consistency to operations, and build a more resilient platform. We are excited to bring our owners together to celebrate this progress and look ahead to the future.”
With this convention, PRISM reinforces its commitment to strengthening its franchise network while celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to shape the global hospitality industry.
