Radisson Blu Guwahati has launched “Bhendi Bazaar – The Soul of Mumbai on a Plate,” a special culinary showcase at Café B You that celebrates the rich food heritage of one of Mumbai’s most iconic neighbourhoods.

Running from 22nd to 30th June 2026, the festival offers guests an opportunity to explore the authentic flavours, traditions, and culinary stories that have shaped Bhendi Bazaar’s vibrant food culture for generations.

Inspired by the bustling food lanes of South Mumbai, the specially curated menu draws from Bohri and Memoni home-style cooking, Mughlai influences, and the region’s renowned street food traditions. The experience highlights heritage recipes, slow-cooked delicacies, and signature dishes that reflect the diversity and depth of old Mumbai’s culinary landscape.

The dining journey begins with a selection of traditional beverages, including Mohabbat ka Sharbat, Kokam Sherbet, Rose Sherbet, and Maramari Fruit Shake Cocktail. These refreshing drinks set the stage for an evening inspired by the flavours and hospitality of Bhendi Bazaar.

Adding to the immersive experience, guests can explore live food counters featuring freshly prepared kebabs, roomali roti stations, and traditional dessert offerings. Popular sweet treats such as Malpua, Mawa Jalebi, Falooda, and classic sherbets further showcase the richness of the region’s culinary traditions.

The festival has been designed to recreate not just the food but also the spirit of Bhendi Bazaar through interactive dining experiences, authentic preparation techniques, and community-inspired hospitality.

Speaking about the initiative, Gurmeet Randhawa, General Manager of Radisson Blu Guwahati, said the festival aims to introduce guests to the timeless flavours and culinary heritage that have made Bhendi Bazaar one of Mumbai’s most celebrated food destinations.

Hosted at Café B You, the showcase offers diners in Guwahati a rare opportunity to experience the essence of Mumbai’s historic food culture without leaving the city.

The festival is available daily from 7:00 PM onwards until 30th June 2026
