Overview

Radisson Blu Hotel Ahmedabad welcomed the festive season with a heartfelt and eco-conscious celebration, bringing together guests, families and team members for two key highlights, the annual Cake Mixing Ceremony and a meaningful Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening also featured live carol performances, adding a warm and nostalgic touch, followed by a festive hi-tea.

Staying true to its commitment to responsible hospitality, the hotel unveiled a unique Christmas tree crafted entirely from recycled wooden panels and repurposed boxes. The installation stood as a creative symbol of how celebrations can remain joyful while staying mindful of the environment.

Speaking at the event, General Manager Mr. Saurabh Bhatnagar said, “This Christmas, we wanted our celebrations to reflect values that truly matter,  sustainability, community and creativity. Our tree made from recycled wood and boxes is a small yet significant step toward mindful hospitality. It shows that festive joy becomes more meaningful when it respects the planet.”

The celebration began with the traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony, where guests and associates came together to mix an assortment of fruits and spices, a ritual symbolising joy, prosperity and togetherness. The carol choir added festive charm, filling the space with warmth and cheerful melodies.

Guests later enjoyed a relaxed hi-tea, offering a perfect ending to an evening that blended tradition, community and conscious celebration.

With its sustainability-led Tree Lighting Ceremony, Radisson Blu Hotel Ahmedabad continues to champion thoughtful, eco-friendly and community-oriented experiences as part of its hospitality philosophy.
