Overview

Radisson Blu Plaza, Banjara Hills, is inviting food enthusiasts to a unique culinary journey with the Kongunadu Food Festival, running from 12th to 21st September 2025 at Chill Restaurant & Terrace, the hotel’s all-day dining space.

Curated by Master Chef Gowthamn, the festival celebrates the rustic and soulful cuisine of Kongu Nadu, a region in Tamil Nadu known for its bold spices, farm-to-table recipes, and heritage cooking techniques.

Guests can savour iconic dishes such as Vazhapoo Vada (banana flower fritters), Kambu Dosa (pearl millet dosa), Arisi Paruppu Sadam (rice with dal and spices), Kozhi Milagu Curry (pepper chicken), Kari Dosa, Mutton Chukka, and more. Live cooking stations will showcase authentic preparation, from dosa artistry to fresh sambal grinding.

The restaurant will be transformed to reflect Kongunadu culture, with earthen pots, woven baskets, lotus-filled urulis, rustic wooden serving platters, and vibrant regional motifs. Themed staff attire will enhance the immersive experience.

Speaking about the festival, Master Chef Gowthamn said, "Kongunadu cuisine is rooted in simplicity and soul. Through this pop-up, I wish to bring the warmth of our food culture to Hyderabad and let diners discover the depth and diversity of Tamil Nadu’s culinary traditions".

The Kongunadu Food Festival at Radisson Blu Plaza promises more than just food — it’s a cultural celebration that brings the heart of Tamil Nadu straight to Hyderabad.
