The Reef at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa invites guests to embark on a culinary journey through Karnataka with The Karnataka Table, a week-long food showcase celebrating the state’s rich and diverse regional flavours. Taking place from 12th July to 19th July 2026, the festival presents an immersive dining experience featuring authentic dishes inspired by Karnataka’s traditional kitchens.
Bringing together the culinary identities of regions including Mangalore, Kundapura, Coorg, Udupi, Malnad, and Davanagere, The Karnataka Table highlights the unique ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavours that define one of South India’s most diverse food cultures.
Curated using authentic regional recipes, indigenous spices, traditional preparation methods, and locally inspired ingredients, the showcase offers guests an opportunity to explore Karnataka’s culinary traditions beyond popular favourites. Each dish reflects the cultural influences, agricultural practices, and community-based food traditions that have shaped the state’s cuisine over generations.
From coastal specialities influenced by Mangalore and Kundapura to the aromatic flavours of Coorg and the vegetarian culinary legacy of Udupi, the festival brings together a wide spectrum of Karnataka’s gastronomic heritage under one dining experience at The Reef.
The Karnataka Table is available during lunch and dinner services, allowing guests to experience the flavours of Karnataka throughout the week.
