Sheraton Grand Palace Indore is welcoming the harvest season with immersive celebrations for Lohri and Makar Sankranti, highlighting India’s rich festive traditions through food, décor, and community spirit.

The festivities begin with a Lohri-themed dinner on 13th January at S Café. Guests will enjoy a traditional bonfire surrounded by rustic décor and vibrant phulkari accents. Chef Karam Dogra and his team have curated a buffet featuring North Indian classics such as Makki di Roti, Sarson da Saag, and sweet treats including Punjabi Pinni, Gajak, and Rewari that capture the essence of a Punjabi winter.

Carrying the festive spirit forward, the Makar Sankranti brunch on 14th January showcases harvest traditions from across India. Guests can savour Puliyodharai, Undhiyu, Rajgira Poori with Sesame-Flavoured Vegetable Curry, Bhogichi Bhaji, Curd Rice with Tempered Sesame, and sweets like Puran Poli, Sakkarai Sadam, and Nolen Gurer Payesh. The space will feature bright kite-themed décor, handcrafted kites, lively folk music, and interactive activities for children including kite colouring, paper crafts, and traditional games.
