Overview

Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel is inviting guests to celebrate Onam with an authentic Kerala-inspired Sadya feast at its all-day dining restaurant, Feast. The event, scheduled for September 5, 2025, promises a vibrant mix of traditional flavours, décor, and festive cheer.

Onam marks Kerala's golden harvest season and the legendary homecoming of King Mahabali. One of the highlights of the festival is the Sadya, a lavish vegetarian feast served on banana leaves, symbolising prosperity and togetherness.

At Feast, the culinary team has curated an elaborate menu featuring dishes such as Avial, Theeyal, Banana Chips, Kootu Curry, Olan, a variety of Pachadis and Thoran, ending with indulgent Payasams, including the much-loved Ada Pradhaman. Guests can look forward to an authentic dining experience that captures the essence of Kerala’s food culture.

The celebrations will be enhanced with traditional Onam décor and colourful Pookalam floral arrangements, adding to the festive spirit.

Sharing his thoughts, Executive Chef Satya Kumar said,

"Onam is about community, culture, and culinary heritage. Our goal is to bring the true essence of Kerala's harvest festival to Hyderabad through a menu that reflects tradition and authenticity. By sourcing native ingredients and following traditional cooking methods, we aim to transport our guests straight to the heart of Kerala."
