Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, the 124-year-old Grand Dame of Hanoi, is welcoming the holiday season with a sparkling transformation dubbed “A Luminescent Dreamscape.” Millions of lights and festive displays adorn the hotel, blending holiday magic with the Metropole’s timeless elegance. For the first time, the Metropole Christmas Fair will take place from Nov. 28–30. Visitors can shop for holiday gifts, handicrafts, and decorations while sampling Metropole specialties, sweet treats, mulled wine, eggnog, and gourmet offerings from grill and charcuterie stations. The fair begins with the annual lighting ceremony on Nov. 28, marking the official start of the 2025 festive season. A 15-meter Christmas tree at Le Balcon will dazzle with lights and ornaments, exuding French elegance.

Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) brings four festive dinner options, including a buffet at Le Club Bar with live jazz and 6-course tasting menus at the other restaurants. Christmas Day (Dec. 25) features a festive brunch and celebratory dinners, including a Pan-Asian buffet at Spice Garden and à la carte dining at angelina.

For New Year’s Eve, gala dinners and countdown celebrations await, including a bespoke party at angelina, poolside festivities, and live music at the Bamboo Bar. On New Year’s Day (Jan. 1, 2026), Le Beaulieu hosts a luxurious brunch featuring oysters, shellfish, côte de boeuf, lobster bisque, smoked salmon, and other gourmet creations.

L’Epicerie returns after a redesign, offering a Parisian-inspired shopping experience with festive specialties, hampers, Haute Croissanterie, patisseries, chocolates, artisanal cheeses, caviar, wines, champagnes, and the signature Bûche de Noël.

Le Spa introduces a festive wellness journey, including a 75-minute Illuminating Facial Treatment, a 30-minute foot massage, and 15% off luxury skincare brands Sothys and Anne Semonin.
