The Bheemili Resort, managed by Accor, is bringing the flavours and festive spirit of Goa to Visakhapatnam with a week-long Sao Joao Festival at The Square – Food Outside the Box from September 18 to 25, 2026.

The festival draws inspiration from Goa’s much-loved Sao Joao celebrations, bringing together Goan flavours, music, décor and festive traditions for a week-long dining experience.

Set against the coastal surroundings of Bheemili, the celebration aims to recreate the relaxed and communal spirit associated with Sao Joao. Families, friends and food enthusiasts can come together over an afternoon inspired by Goa’s coastal culture and hospitality.

A Taste of Goa in Visakhapatnam

The festival is designed around the cultural character of Sao Joao, with the dining experience incorporating elements of Goan festive traditions and flavours.

From the festive décor to the culinary offering, the celebration focuses on the easy-going atmosphere and sense of togetherness that are closely associated with Goan festivities.

The coastal setting of The Bheemili Resort also adds a natural connection to the theme, bringing the character of one coastal destination to another.
