Overview

Bangalore is set to host The Dhurthi Collective, a first-of-its-kind sustainability exhibition, on March 16, 2025, at the Bangalore International Centre, Domlur. This event will bring together 17 trailblazing brands, each chosen for their alignment with at least one of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making it India’s most impactful sustainability showcase.

Timed just before Global Recycling Day (March 18), The Dhurthi Collective aims to address four major challenges in sustainability—Awareness, Accessibility, Authenticity, and Affordability. The exhibition will highlight innovative and eco-friendly products, including furniture crafted from pallet wood waste, leather-like bags made from tube rubber, and technology that creates water from air.

A Marketplace for Sustainable Living

Additionally, visitors can explore "Umeed," an art exhibition curated in collaboration with The Aravani Art Project, a transgender-led art collective. This exhibition showcases art made from discarded canvases, transforming waste into meaningful artistic expressions.

Panel Discussions and Networking Opportunities

Beyond the marketplace, the event will host exclusive invite-only panel discussions (4 PM - 6 PM), featuring industry leaders and sustainability experts who will share insights on making sustainable living mainstream. With over 500 sustainability advocates, industry professionals, and media representatives in attendance, it promises to be a significant networking opportunity.
